Poco has initiated its promotional campaign in India for the upcoming F7 series, hinting at an imminent launch via social media teasers. The series, which may include the F7 and the yet-to-launch-in-India F7 Ultra, is expected to debut exclusively on Flipkart.
The company's recent post on X stated, No noise. No gimmicks. No mercy. It's time to shut down the BS,” signaling the arrival of new hardware under the F branding. The teaser also revisits legacy F-series models such as the Poco F1, F3 GT, and F4, implying a return to performance-first devices.
While Poco has not formally confirmed launch timelines, indications suggest that pricing details, availability, and promotional offers will be disclosed shortly. Flipkart banners also point toward an online sales partnership, continuing Poco's trend of e-commerce exclusivity in India.
The F7 Ultra, already launched globally, is now expected to enter the Indian market. Poco India's Head, Himanshu Tandon, recently hinted at the model’s debut. The F7 Ultra is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, backed by a 5,300mAh battery. The rear houses three cameras — a 50MP primary, 50MP telephoto, and 32MP ultrawide lens. On the front, a 32MP sensor is placed for selfies and video calls.
In comparison, the base Poco F7 is expected to carry slightly toned-down specifications. Industry reports suggest it may ship with a dual-camera setup and a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED screen featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, similar to the F7 Pro model launched internationally.
The new F-series aims to build upon Poco’s high-performance legacy while offering options across multiple price tiers. Exact launch details are awaited.
